Adjusting to a world without Prodney – with your help
Last month Natalie wrote a heartfelt obituary to Prodney, an account of their lives together. It’s strange adjusting for all of us, he was such a huge and constant presence.
The outpouring of support and love for Prodney and for Natalie has really helped, so thank you all so much. He was loved far beyond Teddington thanks to his starring role in the coverage of our fundraising campaign in 2021, and for his monthly blogs.
And you’ve raised nearly £1,400 so far for the Prodney Memorial Fund, so we can continue to work in his name. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Meanwhile, horses are herd animals and family is everything. So the oldies field has also lost its leading man and lodestar. There’s been another change, but a welcome one, in that Annie has now joined the herd there. Mini has taken her under her wing and is enjoying mothering her and showing her the ropes. And the herd is adjusting to their new dynamic and is moving on together.
Prodney may be gone but he’ll never be forgotten by any of us who knew him, and all of you who followed his antics and his horsey wisdom.
