Frequently asked questions:
How do I book a ride?
We are a Riding for the Disabled associated centre and charity, and as such our charitable remit is to offer riding and horse therapy to those with a disability or need. If you feel like you would benefit from spending time with horses, please e-mail theteam@parklanestables.co.uk and we will do our best to assist. We do have a cuddle pony available for the public to visit seven days of the week. You don’t need an appointment, just come by!
You are an urban stable, where do your horses get turned out?
Our horses spend five days a week in the stable with us, getting regular exercise in Bushy Park and then five days off in our lovely fields in Oxshott where they spend time with their herd.
Do you accept donations of used tack?
We do accept donations of used tack in good and useable condition, if you would still use it for your horse, then so would we! Any donations that we are unable to use will be sold in our eBay store with all profits going back to supporting our work.
Do I need to book an appointment to visit the cuddle pony?
You do not need an appointment to visit the cuddle pony, we are open seven days a week except during holidays.
