Big Give’s Christmas Campaign – wow, did you deliver

Last month we previewed that we were part of this year’s matchfunded Big Give Christmas Campaign. Here’s what happened after the donate button went live.

During the week that donations were open you raised an amazing £85,296, against a target of £75,000, with £37,500 generously matchfunded by our champion Reed Foundation. That’s a fantastic result which will cover most of our running costs over the harsh winter months. From hay to haylage, farrier costs to vet bills ... this is what you gave to us and our superstar RDA ponies. You did this. ‘Thank you’ doesn’t seem enough, but it’s heartfelt. With your backing, we can concentrate on planning for our 2026 activities, delivered right here in the heart of Teddington and in gorgeous Bushy Park.

Delivering bales of hay to the field – thanks to you

We’d like to thank Reed Foundation who were our Champion Funder. Our deepest condolences go to the family of Sir Alec Reed, founder of The Big Give, who recently passed away. We’re also very grateful to our own Pledge Funder – a regular supporter who does not want to be named – for contributing the funds to make up the rest of our matchfunding. Such generosity is not something we ever take for granted, it’s no exaggeration to say that it helps us to change lives for the better.
