Pony Club at Park Lane Stables
The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation for youngsters interested in ponies and riding. It was founded in England in 1929 and is now represented in 18 countries and has a membership exceeding 100,000.
Park Lane Stables is an official Pony Club Centre where children can learn about horses and pony care as well as improving their riding, all whilst working towards a variety of badges and achievements.
The Pony Club training structure encourages Members to take tests, which enable them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding. The tests are taken at recommended ages and are designed with certain objectives in mind.
There are lots of events for children to take part in once they are a Pony Club Member. We often arrange days away, attend special events and there's the annual Pony Camp, which takes place in the summer holidays and is usually 4 nights away at one of the UK's leading equestrian centres.
