Horses working at our riding school are fit, active, well socialised and extremely well cared for. We're a small yard, which means every horse gets individual care and attention. Also because our stables are run by a behaviour expert we constantly monitor horses to ensure they never develops any bad habits! Horses are turned out regularly in our 12 acre field at Slough Farm in Claygate.

As a rider you get the best of both worlds with excellent hacks through the varied terrain around Claygate and the surrey woodland as well as riding in the prestigious Royal Bushy Park in Middlesex .

Natalie our Stable Manager has worked with horses for many years. During that time she has studied equine behaviour and has trained using natural horsemanship techniques.

Our remedy service is specifically designed to get right to the heart of any problems you may be having, including over coming bad behaviour, re-schooling and traffic training.

Horse riding lesson for those who have not ridden before but would like to try. You will be lead on foot by a competent handler on a short stroll around Bushy Park. Perfect for kids (and adults). Each horse is lead by a competent handler and accompanied by a qualified instructor.

Ideal for those who want to build their confidence slowly. Each horse is led by a competent handler offering you help and advice for a 30 minute walk around Royal Bushy Park. Each ride is accompanied by a qualified instructor.

For more experienced horse rider, an hour long hack around Royal Bushy Park. The instructor is mounted on a horse and the pace of the ride is dictated according to the ability of the riders.

For those who would like a longer ride but still need the reassurance of help from the ground. Each horse is led by a competent handler and the ride is under the supervision of a qualified instructor.

This riding lesson is ideal for those who prefer one-to-one tuition or those who want to concentrate on improving particular areas of their riding. The instructor is mounted or on foot depending on the needs of the rider.

During school holidays we hold Pony Morning every day. A pony will be allocated to you to take care of for the whole morning, then enjoy a ride in Royal Bushy Park.

£40 for Pony Club Members

£50 for non-Pony Club Members

We offer pony parties from aged 4. We can cater for your individual needs. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Buying a horse can be quite a minefield; often it's difficult to asses yourself if the horse is going to be right for you or your child. Park Lane Stables offers a 'help with buying serivce' that will ensure you find the right horse or pony.

Seling a horse can be just as stressful as buying one - particularly if you're are up against a deadline. We can help you find the right buyer for your horse and our stables are a great 'shop window' for potential buyers to come and see the horse, as well as try before they buy!

Our pub rides run during the summer months. Enjoy a relaxing ride around Royal Bushy Park incorporating a social stop-off at a local pub.
