What is Pony Club?
Pony Club at Park Lane Stables
The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation for youngsters interested in ponies and riding. It was founded in England in 1929 and is now represented in 18 countries and has a membership exceeding 100,000.
Park Lane Stables is an official Pony Club Centre where children can learn about horses and pony care as well as improving their riding, all whilst working towards a variety of badges and achievements.
After school club every Thursday and Friday
Time: 4pm - 5:30pm
Price: £10 per person per day
Every weekend Saturday or Sunday
Time: 9am - 1pm including a 1 hour ride
Price: £45 per person

What Happens at Pony Club?
The Pony Club Training structure encourages Members to take tests which enables them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding. The tests are taken at recommended ages and are designed with certain objectives in mind.
Badges and achievements which can be gained at Park Lane Stables include:
Mini Achievement Badges
For those not quite old enough to take Achievement Badges and are designed to instill the basic principles of the main achievement badges topics such as grooming, point of the pony, poisonous plant and birds
Achievement Badges
An advancement on the mini achievement badges and include more advanced topics such as first aid, loading, lungeing and tack cleaning plus non-equine badges such as brid watching and farming
