Horse riding in Royal bushy Park
Independent Riders
Park Lane Stables is the only riding school in the area that offers experienced riders the chance to ride completely independently!
After passing your initial riding assesment with one of our BHS instructors and provided you have your own insurance, you'll be able to to take one of our horses for a hack by yourself.
You can 'pay as you go' for £40 per hour or pay by Direct Debit.

Bushy Park is the second largest of the Royal Parks. Home to around 300 red and fallow deer that roam freely, just as they did in the times of Henry VIII. Bushy Park provides some of the best horse riding routes in London.
Our hacks are split into groups depending on what you want to do. We offer gentle walking and trotting hacks to the more energetic canter hacks. An instructor from Park Lane Stables will accompany you to ensure you get the most out of the ride and see all that Bushy Park has to offer for horse riders!
