How to Book

There are two ways to make a booking you can either call us on 07796 842 328 but please note sometimes we cannot answer your call as we are teaching. In this instance, please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The second way to book is to submit an online booking form. Once your request has been received if the date and time requested is available we will make the booking straight away for you. If we don't have availability for the dates and times requested, we will email you back with an alternative. If you are happy with the alternative we will proceed with the booking.

If you book your lesson via the internet we will email you a confirmation of your booking. If you are new to Park Lane Stables we will email you a link to download the New Rider Registration Form. Please print a copy and fill in this form before you arrive for your lesson or hack.

What to Wear
If you are new to riding on the day of your lesson you will need to wear comfortable trousers such as leggings or jogging bottoms. Shoes with a small heal such as Hunter wellingtons are ideal. Please dress according to the weather, if it's raining bring along a waterproof or if it's hot wear something cool and loose such as a light T-shirt.

If you don't have a riding hat you can hire one from Park Lane Stables for just £2.

On the Day of Your Lesson or Hack
Please arrive 10 -15 minutes before your time slot and come through to reception so we can get you booked in and fitted with the necessary equipment.
Unfortunately due to the number of customers leaving without paying we will now be taking payment for all lessons, hacks and Pony Club before you ride - we hope you understand.

An Important Note to Parents - NEW CHECK IN AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
Please note parents need to call to book their children into Pony Club. We are the 3rd largest Pony Club Centre in the UK and may not have space for children who do not have a confirmed reservation. We do not want to disappoint anyone so please make sure you have a confirmed booking before you arrive!

We have a new check in procedure for all children. In order to meet our high safety standards, we can no longer accept children who are not accompanied and checked in by an adult. When you arrive you need to park your car and come to reception, where one of members of staff will check your child in and take payment for your booking. Once this is done you can then leave your children with us until it's time to collect them. If payment is not received in advance or an adult does not accompany the child to check in they may not be able to participate or ride.

We are a very busy yard and need to control the number of children being supervised at any one time. We therefore ask that parents to drop their children off for a lessons, hacks or Pony Club no earlier that 10 or 15 minutes before their time slot, unless prior arrangement has been made.

Cancellation Policy
Once a reservation is made we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel a booking without incurring a cancellation fee. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, which will be the full price of the lesson being cancelled. If you have a block of lessons booked the same cancellation policy applies and we will deduct the lesson from the total.

Busy Periods
Please note the weekends, bank holidays and school holidays are our prime booking period and we are always fully booked. We advise booking at least 7 days in advance for prime booking slots and always giving us as much notice as possible for cancellations so as not to take up a slot that someone else could have used.

Advanced / Block Bookings
If you would like to book several lessons or hacks in advance or make a block booking we require full payment in advance. The same cancellation policy as outlined above applies.

Birthday Parties
To make a birthday party enquiry please email parklanestables@googlemail.com. To make a birthday party booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 and the balance is payable when you arrive on the day of the party. We regret we cannot take payment after the event.
